Late Shipment Means More Quality Related Issues In the Future

West African raw cashew market is now in the hands of Indian importers. If the Indian Rupee gains strength against the dollar, the raw cashew market may move up proportionately.

But late shipment means more quality related issues in the future. Buyers may expect more prices but the quality always changes during the long-term storage and further deteriorates during the prolonged sea voyage. Most recent raw cashew arrivals, mainly the Beninese second crop quality, is said to be not up to the Indian market expectations.
