Imported Cashewnuts Quality Report

The quality of Benin raw cashewnuts imported in June is said to be not satisfactory. Processors opine that it is very difficult to crack these nuts. The moisture content is above normal level and yield is also low. These factors have brought down the work rate. As a result the availability of cashew kernels might be reduced even with sufficient raw cashew stock.
