Vietnam’s last crop harvest seems to be totally rain damaged. Filling out-turn may be negligible in the region where the price is only ₹40/kilo. Enterprises may face problems in their June-July export obligations.

Indian harvest may continue till the rainy season but the total loss may be 30-40% in the crop size and another 3-4% in the final filling out-turn.

Even some West African nations are facing the problem of unseasonal rain.

This year, Indian processors will have to import more than 1 million ton raw cashew nuts to fulfil the internal as well as world demand.

Only a big rally in the kernel market can increase the supply, when the demand needs more supply.
