Wholes Down on Rupee Appreciation but Pieces Unchanged

Sudden Rupee appreciation has resulted in much lower returns on exports in the Indian currency market. Though the f.o.b value for cashew kernel is on a uppish move, actual realization has drastically come down in Rupee terms.

Declining trend in the North Indian markets is only in Wholes as this market mostly depends on the export market.

Firmness in splits and pieces may be due to festival related extra consumption and festive forward demand.
