What has happened to Nigeria may not happen to Tanzania

Only a few months ago, Nigerian raw cashew sector faced a calamity when Vietnamese authorities rejected their raw cashew on quality grounds.

Tanzanian raw cashew which was harvested in 2018 will now move to Vietnam in September-October. “176000 tons will move from the warehouse-weather to at least 4 weeks of sea-weather”. The Quality may be good during the shipment time but may not be the same when it reaches the destination as the raw cashew will be 8 to 10-month-old when it moves out from the warehouse to the sea-weather.

If the Vietnamese port authorities reject this cargo, then the Tanzanian New-Crop harvest will move to India!
