Unexpected Rains in Indian Early Crop Areas

Along with the bright sunshine, some light showers fell on the cashew trees in Kerala and south interior Karnataka in the last 48 hours. These rains are good for the first crop but according to some weather experts, there will be more rains than the average rainfall, in the approaching summer season. More than the average rainfall in the summer months may damage Indian horticulture and farm crops. But the Indian raw cashew buyers are likely to remain slow in their import commitments till the announcement of the Indian Budget 2012.
