Uncertainty in Guinea-Bissau Raw Cashew Trade

Traders are now looking towards Guinea-Bissau for quality raw cashew nuts but the sudden military coup and growing   political uncertainty in that country may harm its cashew exports. According to press reports, country’s air and sea spaces are now closed and banking transactions are not possible. If this situation continues for next few days, the demand for Beninese and Ivorian raw cashew may go up significantly.
