Tough Year for the Indian Cashew Industry

first half of 2010 was  disastrous for the Indian cashew industry. But in the second half, it survived strong competitions through Diwali and other domestic festival sales. CWG (commonwealth games) has also contributed to the spectacular bull run. How ever from last 6-8 weeks, Indian processors are once-again facing severe losses due to raw cashew shortage. Current undried raw cashew prices in Kerala state is around Rs83 to Rs84 (immediate) and Rs80 to Rs82 (March-end).
