State wise statistics about the Indian harvest 2019 still not available

Slow progress in the monsoon was somewhat helpful to the Indian cashew harvest till the 3rd week of June. Even then, the harvest shortfall in the south-west region may be above 30%.

The crop-size is said to be nearly normal in the northern and north-east regions on account of year on year increase in the area under cultivation.

Therefore, we think that the shortage in this year’s yield is somewhere between 10-20 percent. — Official statistics still not available.
