Signs of Recovery In Indian Cashew Kernel

This entry was posted on Monday, May 2nd, 2011 and is filed under Cashew.
Indian cashew kernel prices moved up slightly on account of supply shortage and the supply shortage is manly due to production cuts in some tiny and small scale industries. Current kernel market is totally unfavorable to them and raw cashew quality  has also come down because of heavy rains in Kerala, Karnataka and border areas of Andhra and Tamil Nadu. In this situation, preserving raw material and finished products for domestic festival season seems to be a good idea. Big companies and food manufacturers may start this year’s Festive cashew buying  by June end.
