Sense of Urgency in Buyers Camp but Severe Scarcity in W320 & W240

Diwali demand, workers attendance shortage and white quality raw nut shortage are responsible for the ’empty stock situation’ in the W240 and W320 wholes/Goa-Mangalore.

Finally, Tanzania has announced the most awaited marketing season. Most probably, from today! Indian small and medium scale buyers want the 52+/lb outturn nuts around $1700-1750/factory delivery (i.e. Auction rate+ tax, delivery charges, bank charges, port charges & transport charges).

But the decision is in the hands of auction authorities. If they reject lower bids, export market might react with a proportionate or even Diwali like boom.
