Sellers Silent In Global Cashew Kernel, Buyers Silent In Indian Markets

Indian small and medium scale processors are showing more and more interest in the domestic kernel trade. If they try, they may get 10-15 cents more in the export market but selling in the Indian markets is said to be the only profitable way under the currentĀ uncertainĀ circumstances.

Buyers are waiting for a market correction as Onam festival period is approaching. In Kerala, processors need extra money during this period for bonus payments, festival allowances and advance payments.
