Sellers’ Resistance in Global Kernel Trade

Indian sellers are not inclined to sell in the export market unless they get exchange related price corrections. At present, they want 15-20 cents/pound increase in the f.o.b prices, to make up for the losses on currency transactions.

Indians might get a very strong domestic support in coming weeks but Brazilians are also facing the same problem.

Whatever the situation is, there is no selling pressure in the market.

Buyers can’t wait too long as the biggest consumption period is approaching fast.
