Sellers can Command This Diwali Market

Indian cashew kernel remained quiet after the Ramadan festival. But North Indian buyers are now showing more buying interest in mid size white grades. Export market is also moving in accordance with the local market. Premium grade W320 is trading around Rs.6800/11.340 kilo/Goa-Mangalore.

Mostly August, September and October are Diwali festive months for the Indian cashew industry. (Sometimes, corporate buyers start their festive purchases in June-end or July).

Sellers will have to try their best to command the market for next three months.

It is true that too much is always too bad. But what is too much?

Considering the unworkable raw cashew price and falling shell oil rate, even Rs.7200/11.340 kilo/Premium W320/Goa-Mangalore may become a reality during the peak period of this Diwali.
