Raw Cashew Situation (September 2012)

Today is the last day of the Onam festival in Kerala. West African raw cashew trade may see further momentum from  next week onwards as holiday mood is likely to continue till this weekend. Most probably, traders can clear all their unsold ‘exportable stocks’ by mid-September.

East African raw cashew prices may not be cheaper than the current Indonesian market for the same quality. The Tanzanian Government always interferes during any or every kind of instability, to safeguard its farming community.
