- Indian harvest is still continuing in the central and eastern regions but the most important southern region is facing 40% crop loss.
- Tanzania is hunting for investors in the cashew sector.
- Indian buyers have a special liking for the Beninese origin nuts.
- Nigerian raw cashew exporters are totally looking towards India.
- Ivory Coast has a tilt towards Vietnam. But a Vietnamese buyer, even though supported by a ‘$3.40/Pound/W320 global market’ has to compete with the ‘$4.80/Pound/W320/market’, i.e the Indian domestic market.
