This year’s Indonesian raw cashew yield is said to be fairly good. Although the Indian crop is 15% to 25% lower than the last year, the Indian processors have imported 244485 tons of raw cashew in the first quarter of the current financial year. This figure shows that the raw cashew import has increased by above 35%. The Indian Processors are now having huge quantity of African raw cashew stock and they are facing the problem of processing them. Most of them are trying to sell these tough nuts to others. The Vietnamese processors are relying only on the export market and they are facing selling problems. So the Indonesian raw cashew market which is around $1075 to $1150 may crumble in the coming months (i.e after the Indian festival season)
