Too much collapse is always too bad. At this point, East African farmers are successful in countering false propaganda, with mutual understanding and strong support from the Government agencies. A clear picture of the market and its direction may emerge in West Africa after February second week. Seasonal rush for the Beninese first crop (March to first half of April/shipment), which is the best crop of Benin, may begin by February second/third week.
