Wholesale buyers are not interested in W320 or in any higher grade. Their purchase price is around Rs.8700/W320/Small quantity/11.340 kilo/inclusive of VAT/Goa-Mangalore.

Exporters buying rate under immediate cash terms is Rs.8000+VAT/without packing/- for the same quantity.

Usually, when a trader loses 10% in his unsold stocks he will try his best to recover the losses by lowering the purchase price. But the current situation is not completely in his control.
Processors are recklessly increasing their processing capacity, despite the raw cashew production is much more compared to the global kernel consumption. Even then the raw nut supply meets only 50% of the global processing capacity!

So only the capable should remain in this mismatch competition.

When the time is only for the fittest to survive, who are not fit should quit immediately.
