Quality Drop in This Year’s Raw Cashew

Despite pretty noticeable quality drops in this year’s Tanzanian raw cashew nuts, those who have imported around ‘ $1600-$1700/Ton/C&F/Indian western Ports’ are satisfied with the quality. With 180-190 counts/kilo and 23.75-24% filling out-turn, the quality is said to be only slightly poorer than the last year’s excellent quality. But those who purchased cheaper nuts around ‘ $1500-$1575/Ton/C&F/Indian Western Ports’ are not satisfied with the 200-210 counts/kilo and substantially lower filling out-turn.
