Once Again A Cautious Recovery Stage

Indian cashew kernel which was in the grip of global uncertainty after the Diwali festivals is once again in a cautious recovery stage. Price increase is more in the eastern and north-eastern areas but it is nominal in the West-Coast. Factories of the North-East are small and most of them are facing raw cashew shortage. They mostly depend on import re-sellers during this time but the current imported raw cashew is beyond their reach because of the 15% currency depreciation. Factories situated in Kerala, Karnataka and Goa have imported raw material but they are totally bewildered by the cost and quality of the imports.
