No Big Welcome for Indian New Crop

This entry was posted on Friday, February 10th, 2012 and is filed under Cashew.

New crop arrival is improving in South India but there is no enthusiasm in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra. Goa based processors are the main buyers in Kerala but they are not interested in general smaller nuts. Buyers from Karnataka are not yet ready for the undried quantity, so they are also choosy in their purchases. Drying process needs additional workforce and bulk buying is possible only after appointing such additional workers.
