North Indian kernel buyers hope that the market will come down because of the prevailing political uncertainty. However, industry sources think otherwise. According to some experts, traders were able to clear their massive stock of lower grades during the transport strike period. Even before the full-scale transport strike, long distance vehicle movement was slow in India and thereafter some southern regions observed the inter-state strike for full two days.

‘No response’ from the Indonesian raw cashew market as sellers prefer watch and wait mode.
