Even if the supply shortage of W320 is not extreme, non-availability of higher grades in the international market and costly raw material are the causes of current price rise. Both India and Vietnam are now depending more and more on smaller African raw cashew nuts because of continuous domestic crop failure. Industry sources feel that W320 prices will shoot up further as buyers are even more compelled to buy this grade.
