Kernel Firm; Raw Cashew Risky.

This entry was posted on Monday, December 13th, 2010 and is filed under Cashew.

Indian cashew kernel is once again showing some upward swing. Processors are not interested in loss-making offers. In the last few days, they have suffered huge losses due to raw cashew shortage and quality. Loss per container is said to be around Rs1,50,000 to Rs2,00,000. End of the Tanzanian cashew harvesting season means the end of good quality raw cashew for next 3-4 months. So, they are not in a hurry to buy raw cashew or sell cashew kernel.
