Is it the Price Competition Between ‘old crop kernel vs new crop kernel’?

Those who have postponed their export contracts to November-December are facing problems in collecting the required quantity of W240, W320 & W450 grades. Small scale processors are rejecting their purchase offers as they are getting below ten percent of the outturn as W320 & only six to seven percent of the outturn as W240.

North Indian kernel buyers are carefully choosing their requirements as they think that the current competition is almost between ‘old nut vs new nut origin kernel’.

Actually, the import of old raw cashew is ‘too meager’. It is pointless to give any importance to such an insignificant quantity.
