Industry Should be Ready for A Bumper Harvest in India

Raw cashew shortage may ease in India by February-end when large scale imports from East Africa approaches local ports.

Indian New-Crop harvest is progressing very slowly but this delay may not harm season’s crop prospects. Industry should be ready for an extra-ordinary harvest from the second half of March.

Agents are responsible for the buyers rush in Benin, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Ghana. This rush is for the ‘ May – June shipments’  !
