Indonesian Crop 2011

This entry was posted on Friday, September 16th, 2011 and is filed under Cashew.

According to latest weather reports, current climatic conditions are highly favorable to the ongoing cashew harvest in most of the cashew growing areas of Indonesia. Last year’s crop was largely destroyed or damaged by early and unexpected rains but the probabilities of timely rainfall this year may contribute positively to the raw cashew market. Weather conditions  may help in rebuilding buyer confidence which was shaken by external factors such as Forex volatility and fear of recession.
