Indian Raw Cashew Plummets on Heavy Arrivals from Hilly Areas

Indian raw cashew buyers are now facing financial difficulties due to all-time high raw cashew prices in this season. This year’s prices are around 50% higher when compared to last year. So, small and medium processors have fully exhausted their funds, even though their procurement is 25%-30% less than their yearly storage capacity. There is also sudden heavy arrivals in Kerala and south interior Karnataka and sellers from these areas are searching for large scale buyers. They have to clear their stocks before the onset of monsoon.
