Indian Festival Sales 2011 : A Review

This entry was posted on Monday, October 10th, 2011 and is filed under Cashew.

Indian wholesale cashew kernel traders usually stop their festival buying, about 20-25 days before the Diwali festivals. This year, they have not yet withdrawn from the market but their demand is mainly for premium W320, W240, Splits and Pieces. Prices have come down for SW, SSW, DW and all the below normal grading items. Even in the export market, there is no big downward trend in the premium category. Though the Indian festival season 2011  seems to be  disappointing, market is confident on account of unreasonable raw cashew price rise.
