Indian Diwali Consumption Shocks Global Markets

Imperfect price gap between India and many other markets is responsible for the global level uncertainty in cashew kernel. This year’s Indian festive season is said to be better than last year in terms of consumption and there is still continuous North Indian forward demand.

According to some trade sources, Gujarat elections will further boost the Indian consumption as the state is the most developed state in the country.

“In coming days, Imported pieces may face heavy problems from the Indian customs and other import-export authorities”.
