Indian Cashew Kernel Bullish on Slow Production

This entry was posted on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 and is filed under Cashew.

Supply problem in the Indian markets is due to lack of processing interest in Kollam and other southern regions. However, there is no production slowdown in Goa and Mangalore.

Goa and Mangalore areas are known for superior quality cashew pieces. After many months, processors from these areas are getting fair and reasonable prices for splits and pieces. Activity is more in the spot market but buyers are also showing interest in forward contracts with extra premium.
