Impact of the Weakening Dollar

Whenever the US Dollar drops, exporters move towards other countries to cover sudden Forex losses. As far as cashew kernel is concerned, there is now no over- production nor over-supply.

South Korea, South Africa,Turkey, Iran, Egypt as well as all the gulf countries are trying on large-scale forward contracts from India and the Chinese or Indian demand has stabilized the Vietnamese pieces market.

Preliminary crop estimates for the Brazilian harvest are disappointing.

If the American buyers want more imports, they have to compete with the emerging markets with competitive offers.
