High expectations in Maharashtra

Most probably, the late crop areas of  Maharashtra are best suited for cashew cultivation and mechanized cashew processing. These kernels are nice, tasty, white, and wrinkle-less. Yield per hectare is said to be around 2.5 tons and in some areas, filling yield is nearly 26%. So, Indian interstate buyers are now rushing towards that state. But the current raw cashew market of Maharashtra is in the grip of petty stockists, who hold small quantities but their number is innumerable and their expectations are very high.
