This year’s West Indian cashew harvesting season has ended. The final crop estimates are yet to be drawn but it is said to be much less than last year’s figures.Last year’s crop figures were also much lower when compared to earlier few years.Year by year reduction in yield indicates lack of farmers’ interest in cashew crop.
