Downward Trends in Poor/Average Quality Raw Cashew

Indonesian cashew season is now almost finished and the Tanzanian harvest is nearing its completion. Mid crop raw cashew is still available through high seas but the prices are said to be much more than the current market rates. Stockists and speculators are also asking similar prices, in anticipation of increase in the scale of demand in accordance with the nut quality. They think that the bulk availability of good quality is highly doubtful till the beginning of the Indian and Vietnamese raw cashew season. Even then, the demand is sluggish for the late-crop due to weather and quality reasons.
