Demand for CNSL To Grow in Coming Years

Worldwide demand for Cashew Nut Shell Oil (CNSL) is rising on supply shortage and also due to increase in crude-oil prices. Indian sellers are asking above Rs30/kilo for immediate delivery and above Rs32/kilo for April delivery. In some areas, processors are purchasing shells around Rs7.40/kilo/Indian origin and around Rs 7.10/kilo/import origin. Most probably, CNSL is now ‘the researchers favorite non crude-oil. Recent developments in these researches may give rise to diverse business opportunities in coming years.
