This year, raw cashew exports from Guinea Bissau is said to be around 170000 tons. According to some trade sources, Indonesian new crop may be considerably better when compared with last year’s crop but may not be as good as 2008 and 2009. Even then, the Indonesian raw cashew prices are declining sharply on account of Kerala’s Onam festival holidays. At present, Brazil is also a raw cashew importer but Brazilians may not import from Indonesia, as their new crop has begun to appear.
