Crop Report for April 2010

According to the latest reports and surveys cashew harvest is in full swing in Nigeria, Benin and Ivory Coast. But Indian and Vietnamese farmers are still complaining about very high crop losses, even though the traders and processors are optimistic about reaching last year’s level. In recent three years, Last year was said to be the worst year for Asian cashew crop. Experts are hoping that the yield will start to increase from the third week of April.
