According to latest press reports, Guinea-Bissau crop size is almost in line with market expectations. Their raw cashew export has crossed 160000 tons. But Indonesian weather conditions are said to be favorable in early crop areas and partly cloudy in late crop areas. Even then, this year’s crop is unlikely to be affected by rain or bad weather. In India, re-sellers of imported raw cashew are not getting profitable  orders from small scale processors because of quality related problems.
