After much delay, the Indian cashew harvest is now showing improvements in almost all regions. Middle crop which arrives in April, is said to be good in terms of quantity but not in quality. In Kerala and south interior Karnataka, the crop is damaged by the recent unexpected showers. At present, weather condition  is favorable to cashew crop in Vietnam and other Asian countries. According to some trade experts, Ivory Coast may produce around three lac tons and some part of it will cross the border to Ghana.
