Although the Indian cashew crop season 2011 looks to be bright during this flowering stage, anybody can see highly damaged flowers in most of the early crop areas. The total Indian crop (Only Kerala) during this February, in our estimation is not more than six thousand tons. This is just 1% of the 6 lakh ton annual crop. According to trade experts, Brazilians will process 75% of their New Crop before this March end. So, global demand for cashew kernel is for March end, April, and May shipments.
