Crop Quality: April 2010
This entry was posted on Saturday, April 10th, 2010 and is filed under Cashew.
Indian second crop quality is below expectations. Filling yield is lower by nearly two pounds per quintal. Kernels are smaller in size and lower in grades. Heat wave across the cashew growing areas is said to be the main reason behind the wrinkle ridden kernels. W400, SW, SSW and DW grades are more than the usual yield.
