Cashew Kernel drops on Vietnamese Selling Pressure

This entry was posted on Monday, April 5th, 2010 and is filed under Cashew.

International cashew kernel prices have come down marginally due to Vietnamese offers. They are making forward contracts of W320 around $2.80 per pound. Although the Indian processors are having huge stocks, their cost of production is much more than the market price. They are waiting for the Indian demand to pick up but there is still no such demand at retail level. Indian market is also drifting down on lack of buyers’ interest.
