Nowadays, cashew consumption is increasing in smaller nations and cities. Economic improvements, rise in per capita income and knowledge about health are the main reasons behind this change. They are purchasing mainly from India and Brazil. They give better prices but insist on better quality in return. If W320 grading is of uniform size, without wrinkles and super white; then the prices will be 5% to 10% more than the normal grading. Because of crop shortage in quality crop areas; the current price difference between better grading, normal grading and average grading is too wide when compared to last few years.
